Question

I am working on a watercolor zebra thing.... question is ... should I keep the zebras b/w and shades of gray, add normal zebra colors some browns and tans OR make it crazy colors like the crazy horse?

Depends on where you are going with it...............

I've always thought that red accents look amazing with black and white zebra stripes.

You may be right, black and white and red is a really cool oriental combination. Whatever I do I an going to try on a vellum overlay first.... THANK you, good idea

vellum overlay...

What does that mean?

I would put a sheet of vellum (semi transparent) over the painting and used colored pencils to see how color would look on it before I actually painted it Wot... that might keep me from ruining it and give me a good idea of what works and what doesn't.
