Michael Jackson Dead at 50

How strange that this icon should die at such a young age. When this happens to young stars such as he, it seems like a deal was struck with God (or?) and he said, "I'll give you an exciting life in which you will have tons of talent with which to gain more wealth than you can imagine. Instead of a long life, your life will burn bright but short." I wonder how many of us would choose his path if we had the chance? And what about Farrah Fawcett? She was the big news of the day until Michael's untimely death. Sad that the world has lost two stars with such talent. How do you feel about it?

Strange would appear to be the operative word for MJ's life. He was a truly sick individual who did not die soon enough to suit me . Being able to sing, dance, impersonate a white woman , and make millions of dollars does not offset being a demented pedophile .

I'm amazed at the worship of Michael Jackson. In spite of his accomplishments, the guy was a pervert and incredibly strange human. I do not like to hear of anyone's death so for that I'm saddened - certainly not to the extent of most of the rest of the world. This coverage seems really over the top to me.

Wow. No appreciation for the artistry, the sheer genius? I do not approve of his personal life but then that is true of many famous people. I can still appreciate what he left behind.

As for Farrah, if you watched her special and paid attention to what the drs said, she would have had an extremely good chance of survival if she had originally had surgery that would have left her with a colostomy bag. She refused it. She also refused the best type of chemo for her cancer because she would lose her hair. Only after the situation was grave did she agree to that and then it was too late. What cost vanity? She certainly had a right to decide her quality of life but her special indicated that the medical care here was sub par to that in Germany. However, had she followed the advice of her drs here she may have at least added years to her life.

I liked Farrah Fawcett a lot, she was a great Icon and heart throb of many a young man. I don't recall her saying or doing anything unpleasant.

On the other hand I agree with Mrmikey about the pedophile.

These two people who died was good in their younger days. M.J. is not deserving to be down graded like some have said. Its not our place to judge him anyway.
We all have a past and God knows I have had many bad ones but I am not to judge anyone.We all need to try live the right way because we could be the next to leave this world.
