Welcome....the activity on this site tends to pick up during summer....but its been slow. No negative reactions....chemistry is fun! I teach Physical Science, Biology I and Earth Science. I have 10 more years to....and after last year it cannot come soon enough!!
Welcome to the group. Tootsie1956 is right, it usually does pick up during the summer but maybe everyone is resting and will be active later on. I teach 6th grade math and am the AVID teacher for the 6th grade at my school...it is all new but sounds like a great program. Enjoy the group.
I just finished (sort of) for the year. Our students went through June 18 (we begin after Labor Day) and then I've been in a class all this past week. I thought the class was just one week but then found out we have summer assignments and then one more class in September before we are actually done. One of the many required classes that we teacher's have to take. Anyone that lives with a teacher knows that we really don't have the entire summer off!
