Well, like you, I have made many friends. I have encountered several bullies, but I just don't interact with them. I had to block one "more religious than Jesus" bully from pm's. But then, I believe a lot of people were blocking him.
I have and am sorry to admit it.. But I see some of the same people that I had issues with ..have them with other people too. If a group is just to harsh for me I walk away..
So far I haven't met any bullies on line. I have blocked a couple of people, but it's because they didn't understand the words, "I am not interested in being friends with you". I blocked them after the second PM, so I guess I did it before they had time to become a bully.
Well, to my surprise, since I'm way opinionated and outspoken, nobody has become an enemy/bully yet. There was one guy who hated everyone on one of my groups, but, he left, LOL.
Have met some online that seem to want to bait me into an argument, but they are easy to ignore....and I do....I will engage someone only up to a point. I have no agenda here other than to connect with people in a positive way. I can agree to disagree. If I am uncomfortable with someone then I will tell them...never felt a need to block anyone. There are groups I have dropped because I didn't like the tone of the participants, but have found others I thoroughly enjoy. Have never felt bullied in any way.
I've seen allot of bullies, allot. I have left groups because of their domineering behavior. It's not worth arguing over. One of our own has had a couple he has had to deal with. I think someone is a bit overwhelming in DJ's Bar right now too. I'll be sure to stay clear of her alright.
I stayed away from EONS for quite a while now, since they opened the site to all ages...I remember a lot of drama that was going on then and of course there will always be the bullies..I can take them on if I have to but would much rather not to have to deal with any jerks. So far this group seems pretty welcoming ...any bullies I should know about?
