lol,(like the 'toon.) Only if I can't get what I want locally. Need to keep jobs around here and the cash flow too.
Unless it's likely to need repairs, I usually buy everything online. I live in a very rural area, the stores around here are far from filled with singular, quirky, gorgeous surprises. I just don't want to own the cookie-cutter items. Even basics are better in the computer mall.
These days, I know exactly where to look for whatever I need. I just bought a jar of gold pomade from Bergdorf's. Since, as most of you know, my hair is white in front and mixed in back, it will be very interesting when covered with a sheer metallic gold sheen (for evening). I couldn't buy that in a store near here. I don't buy much, but, what I do buy is not available in my real world.
For shovels, rakes, weeders and roundup, I go to "brick and mortar". Yesterday I bought a bunch of trimmings and some transfer cloth at the local craft store, I'm about to spiff up and alter-to-fit my granddaughter's camp shirts.

I do buy online. One of my favorites is overstock. I always want a lower price then a nearby store (if I can get it there) and no shipping. No tax is another plus since we have to pay 7%.
I've always disliked going to the store to shop, so I'm really happy when I can do it online.

I get a lot of stuff online. My vitamins and Atkins products are from Vitcoast. com and they only charge something like $4.50 no matter how much weight for shipping. Buy my pet stuff at thatpetplace. com . I love their low prices and quick delivery.
JC Penny is my favorite for clothes when I don't feel like going to the store for underware, bras nighties, sheets, comforters etc.
Love to buy books from Amazon or ebay instead of full price.
Yes I think I'm an online shopper.

I try not to buy online if I can avoid it..would rather avoid shipping costs if I can find it on my own out there somewhere. but I have, yes.
After I first got a pc and internet, I found TigerDirect(a computer store) and wore out my credit card.
And one customer I had wanted the most unique cabinet doors for her kitchen that I could find. I found a door maker in Texas that had what she wanted. Used him several times. But that's about all.

I hear TigerDirect has great prices redhand.
I've used a Kayak online store from TX too, can't think of the name but they always have what I can't find at local outfitters.
Nice to get tips on places, so feel free to share them here if you'd like as long as they aren't your own business because that would be spam.

I do some shopping on line. I belong to a DVD and CD club, so I get most of mine from there. I also buy my bras on line because I can't find my size in the stores. I buy some clothes from womanwithin.com, jessicalondon.com. both plus size clothing which is harder to find without lookinglike a potato sack or an ooooolllllddddd lady. I also buy fabric at fabric.com, simply because there are no good fabric stores in my little town. But most of my shopping is done locally.
I bought my green vette on e-bay I bought my cabin cruiser and believe it or not my sailboat off e-bay. If you know what you want you can save a fortune bidding on e-bay. I bought both my boats at less than 50% of there nada value and paid about 60% of the vettes blue book.
I like going to races and football games and I can always get tickets at the last minute at below face value. I sold my old kayak on e-bay It has been a great tool for me !
And Tiger Direct is a very good online experience I have bought several electronics at big savings and I just bought a Gateway laptop and paid less than half what it retails for locally exact same machine.
