Congratulate Me -- I'm a Mother....

This morning, I gave birth to a bouncing, healthy, six pound, 6.6 ounce kidney stone. I've been doing battle with the damn thing for a couple of months now. I think I'll go over to one of the other groups now and bitch and moan about the incompetent doctors and lab techs who told me it wasn't a kidney stone. Cost a fuckin' fortune in co-pays and deductibles for a couple of visits to an urgent care clinic, x-rays, a CT scan and a visit to a urologist and I'm the only one who knew what was happening (I have a long history of kidney stones going back to my early 20s).

That sucker was HUGE! How could they all have missed it!?

Um...let's see...trying to think of a delicate way to phrase the question...uh...how did you eliminate the fuckin' thing? Enquiring minds want to know!

By natural means without medication? Shit that must have felt like a razor blade. A diamond encrusted fist? A multi faceted mace? Sorry you did all you could to get help, payed lots of money then ended up curing yourself the hard way.

You're sure it wasn't the bowling ball you swallowed that one night?

Nah Pluto....Nothing smooth about it. That bastard had a sharp uneven surface. Like spitting a meteor from the end of your dick. That fucker was red hot too.

Sometimes with kidney stones, you just have to be patient (not A patient). Drink lots of liquids laced with lemon juice, which helps dissolve what most stones are made of -- calcium.

Yes, it was jagged, but my oh my what a relief it was when the little fucker finally plooped out after several months of working its way down to the bladder.

Really sad when the patient knows more than the doctors. Maybe they should be paying you.

Drink lots of cranberry juice to help stop the problem from happening again.
