Hi, I'm Too Tall, not Toot all, but some days, that name actually fits better... we won't go there now.
I have one book published, 32 completed to some stage or another, though many are unedited. I am also working for a children's book publisher and freelancing on the side to authors as editor, or maybe just advisor. Working in the industry for the past year and a half or so has really given me some insights to way things really work.
Welcome Too Tall! You have been busy, I see.

I am a retired Chicagoan who moved to Wisconsin in 2004 where I authored the Orphan Train Trilogy: Wildflowers, Bridie's Daughter and Secrets. That was to be the end of that, but my readers have persuaded me to write a sequel. I am on page 52 of that novel, Paper Flowers. Anyone who has read my trilogy will immediately understand the meaning of that title.
All Book Reviews have awarded my trilogy five stars. All three were among 5-10 Finalists in national/international contests. Percentage wise, not many people know about the orphan trains that carried over 200,000 homeless children from New York City to the West and Southwest between 1854-1929. Some children found loving homes; others did not. I feel it is important that we don't forget this little-known corner of our history.
I wish you all success with your literary work. Keep plugging.
Nice to meet you, orphans. I've heard good things about all three of your books. I like the title of your work-in-progress: Paper Flowers.
