Oh and btw, this is not something you're going to find in any field guide. For that matter this is not something you're going to find in any university text book on paleontology. Either you know the answer or you don't. ;-)

Is it archaeopteryx? Discovered in Germany 1861. I can't see some of the details very clearly.
