Similar Numbers........

6/18/09......numbers have always intrigued me. By choice I am a bit of a numerologist and statistician. I even became an accountant for a few years because of my fascination for numbers. There are numbers in everything; as simple as 1, 2, 3. Or even more complicated with, One, Two, Three. But there are no doubt, numbers in everything. Some of us want less numbers, and some of us want more numbers. We want more good numbers probably less then more bad numbers, but think about it; we want numbers of some kind.
Here are some numbers that affect us all through, or in time....

0/0/00, I guess time hadn't started yet!!
1/1/11, We were about to enter the Great War??
2/2/22, We were about to fall into the Depression...
3/3/33, We were finishing the not so Great Depression.
4/4/44, It was a time of war....
5/5/55, I was about to start school...
6/6/66, I got busted that day for cutting school.
7/7/77, I was about to become a father for the second time.
8/8/88, My family was settling in to our new home in Nevada.
9/9/99, It was just after my 20th wedding anniversary.
My youngest son was leaving home for college.
10/10/10, I hope I will be newly married to Chez, and loving every minute of it.

Numbers mean something to us all, just maybe differently. A number of you will agree, and a few won't count on it at all. 1, 2, 3....

All of life, all living things, are composed of numbers. I think you have expressed very well how certain numerical sequences were integral in your life-

very informative, and very informed.

Thanks Erik

“2/2/22, We were about to fall into the Depression...”

I don’t know if you are referring to the ‘Great Depression’, but the Stock Market Crash; i.e. the beginning of the Great Depression was, October, 1929.

***

”3/3/33, We were finishing the not so Great Depression.”

!933, when FDR became President, was the height of the Great Depression, with unemployment at +25%.

In 1940, the government began heavy military spending, and started drafting millions.

By 1943, the unemployment rate was <2%.
