I am about half way through The Time Travelers Wife and am about ready to quit. I usually don't like to give up on a book, but I can't figure out where the author is going with it. Maybe I need to read farther. Has anyone else had trouble reading it? Kitty

What an interesting discussion. When I started reading this book, I really didn't expect to feel so moved by it. But it's clear from some of the posts that people really relate to the way the spontaneous time travel serves as a metaphor for things we have to cope with in our own lives.
