I will never be a size two!!

Hi everyone! Newbie here and when I saw this group I thought, " This is definitely me!" I think I was born chunky. I wasn,t fat as a child and I was built like a brick you know what when I was a teen, but oh man!! When I had my four kids I ballooned up to over fifty pounds of my original weight and have never been able to take much of it off, even after forty years. Pitiful huh? Anyway, I,m lookin forward to meeting you all.

I am really glad you're here!

I fell off the wagon something fierce this past half year, too. Seems like the story of my life!

Much harder than it was 20 years ago because we are no longer chasing little ones. We sit more and are not as active. We need to move a little more. We should walk around the block and get our bodies moving again. kathleen

I have a problem now with moving alot. I have COPD and with where I live (southern Illinois) it gets so hot and humid here in the summer you have a rough time breating on a good day. I do stay as active as I can. I,m sixty seven and I know if I just sit down and give up I,ll be a goner. My motto has always been keep moving as much as you can. I,m also a retired nurse and have seen the effects of not doing anything or moving about and what it does for you as you age.
