chonic pain

Hi Everyone,
I've been off for a while but I'm back now. I still hurt everywhere. They did finally give me some pain pills that take the edge off but don't relieve the pain. My hip hurts so bad some mornings I can hardly get out of bed. My husband wants me to find a job but I don't want to cause I hurt all the time. Even doing my house work causes pain.
Any suggestions for dealing with it????

Do you know what is causing the pain in your hips? "The reason I ask is that I lived with horrid hip pain to where it got to not being able to hardly walk. I had AVN ( dead bone) in the hips and had to have both replaced last fall. Nothing had relieved the pain. You should check with your doctor to find the reason for the chronic pain to be safe.

It is arthiritis in my hip. I am under a drs care but the pain pills just don't work. The darvocet works if I take 2 but I'm only suppose to take 1I don't go back to see the dr till Sept. Physical therapy helped untill i had to stop taking it. My neck, back, & shoulders hurts by the end of the day my arms hurt from my shoulder down to my elbow. Any idea what could be causing that or ways to cope??
Thanks for the post. HOpe you have a good day.

If the medicines aren't helping, they should. You may need hip surgery and to be honest I've heard good and bad results. Its a big step.As for working theres possibly two options for you. If you have never worked you may be eligble for SSI and if you have worked then social security disability.I have rehumatoid arthritis for 3o years. if I can help please ask I will do everything I can to help you.
