Books about growing up Catholic

What books are out there? I have read "Don't Chew Jesus" Clever name...book a little dull.

I have a calendar "Nuns Having Fun" a lot of great older photos.

There are more, but just right now, I can think of them. Any one else?

OMG, how can I forget the book by the same author that wrote "Marley and me" "The longest Road Home" (I think) It was AWSOME. About growing up in a very Catholic home and his turning away from his family's faith. A MUST read! I cried and laughed, and in my world that makes it a great book (or movie)

"Life with Mother Superior" by Jane Trahey. It was the basis for "The Trouble with Angels" starring Hayley Mills.

Antonia White's "Frost in May" and the three following books in the Quartet, but start with "Frost in May" (originally published in 1933, currently available in a Virago Modern Classics reprint).

Well, there is "Growing Up Catholic" by Mary Jane Cavolina, Jeffrey Allen Joseph Stone, Maureen Anne Teresa Kelly and Richard Glen Michael Davis, also, The John Powers books: The Last Catholic in America, Do Black Patent Leaether shoes Really Reflect Up?, and The Unoriginal Sinner and the Ice Cream God. All good reads, especially the Powers books.
