2009 OBX SKIT SIGN-UP

Hello everyone- I have reserved a house for the 2009 OBX SKIT for the week beginning Saturday October 3. We will not be staying at the same house this year but it is identical to the one we stayed at last year. This year's will be different also in that we will be staying Saturday to Saturday instead of Sunday to Sunday. We will still be on the beach with a hot tub and pool. This house also has a horseshoe pit and two grills. Wireless internet and other creature comforts exist in the house. See the link at the end of this message for all of the pictures and info on the house.
I need DEPOSIT MONEY now. $200 per person should cover the weeks expenses based on 20 people coming. If fewer show then the cost will go up. We will also probably have a few people show up and only stay for a few days. I will cover that too. Please PM me and I will give my address and name to make out the checks or money orders. I have already laid out the money for the deposits. The contract will be sent to me.

We are going to have a blast. I will post more info as I think about it or have it suggested to me. Get your money in fast, FIRST TWENTY TO SEND IN THE MONEY GOES. After that we will have to find another house nearby.

This was a wonderful event last October, and I was so glad I took a chance and joined in. The ocean is beautiful, and if I did nothing else for the entire week I would have been happy with a good book and gazing at that beautiful water. There is no set "schedule" for the week. People can come and go at will. Last year one member did a lot of fishing, mainly surf fishing. Several of us went hiking in the nature preserve, a few drove out on the beach to look for the wild horses that live there, some visited the Wright Brothers flight museum at Kitty Hawk, and then there was one evening where many of us went out to a restaurant for dining and dancing. But as I say, you can come and go as you want. The beach lends itself to a very relaxed atmosphere, and board games and books are fine, or maybe some good wine and the hot tub! The choice is yours! And there will always be someone going somewhere... you will not be bored. Please take a look at my profile and you'll see some photos from last year's event. I can't wait to go again in October!

Well I want to fella....really really badly.....but my finances just won't allow it before at least Sept....I'm on a fixed income!
