CHANGES IN YOUR WEATHER

Got rain? Is it getter colder? More extremes? Severe storms? Ok so global warming is rapidly melting polar ice caps. Soo I guess that would explain all the rain. But it seems to be getter colder, not warmer. Your thoughts?

Angel..that's our 'dream' too...this is our 2nd trailer...our next will be about 28/30 ft and be what they call a rear living RV..that's the one with 2 lazy boys in the back, two doors, all the goodies! Ours is 19 ft closed with 2 pop out tent beds...better than the pop up but we still have to put the beds up etc when we get to the site. Paul wants to be able to just pull in and be good to go...

SW, I hear ya bout the TV... before TV went digital we only got 1 or 2 fuzzy channels but since the trailer is a 2008 model the antenna and TV were digital ready so now we get NBC, CBS, ABC and PBS. We have it on just before falling asleep usually...but can't say we watch it much. Paul likes to watch the weather channel...

I like having a bathroom myself!

The summer that never was. We have had only 3 days in a row of no rain. Overall the summer has been chilly. Last few days cold & raining.. I ponder what will the winter bring? Will it snow almost everyday?

well, here in central Texas it has been the hottest, driest summer ever recorded-we have now had 68 days of 100 plus temps and the drought has been labeled 'extraordinary"--the most extreme label they have. It is very scary and the water situation is a real problem. Water restrictions are in effect, but that's just a little too late...the idiots that run the water systems (Lower Colorado River Authority) have been issuing "giant straws" to any developers, etc who want to suck water out of the aquifer--motivated by--yep, you guessed it--greed. People have been warning about dire consequences for years and now--here we are! So, the LCRA slaps restrictions on the consumer NOW. It's ridiculous. And, now San Antonio comes knocking on the water pipe--they now want to use our water supply, too. There are no natural lakes (except one--Caddo in east Texa) in the entire state--all are dammed portions of the Colorado River, which is the water source for how many other states?? Yet, Texas just keeps on building~

It's them dang Carpetbaggers, Stace! Every time I turn around there is an out of state plate!
On the water we want to 'steal' from ya'll...I understand it is the stuff ya have already used,...lol
We had a thunderstorm last night, up here in Helotes (NW of San Antonio). Nice and cool this morning, sigh, but I bet it climbs back nr 100 before long.
If ya want some summer Angel, come down here for a while, we still have a few months left!

That trailer or Motorhome sounds like the way to go.i have owned trailers before and decided pickup and camper we love because we can take that in the back country, but getting to where its getting to be hazzle getting in and out of the unit plus the dogs.more than likely will go to a TT or 5th wheel next.
i like the comforts and the beds but a TV when out camping is out of the question.

Angel, I can take you to the local Move On office, they have one of the largest collections here. You may not be aware, but Bexar Co and San Antonio is one of the few areas in TX to vote Dem in the elcetion!
You had better do something a bit more noticable than Ill plates - this is snowbird country! RVs from everywhere come winter!
