No more delays. Who are the bottom three couples?
Max and Kayla: Safe. They were so hot. It would have been a crime if people didn't recognize.
Randi and Evan: Safe. And they'd better be. I loved their piece.
Phillip and Jeanine: Safe. I was much more taken with him (but it was his style). I do like this pairing.
Caitlin and Jason: Safe. Even though I wasn't feeling Caitlin last night, I'm very happy they're safe. I love Jason.
Melissa and Ade: Safe. Their piece was really amazing. I'm so glad voters agreed.
Ashley and Kupono: I'm so glad people got this piece. I wasn't worried, but you never know. It was strange and awesome. Kupono checked it off his list.
Tony and Paris: Dancing for their lives. I'm not surprised. They were serviceable last night. More than serviceable, in fact. But I wanted them to be amazing — especially Tony. They let us down last night.
Judges reaction: Adam isn't surprised by these results. There was a lot of Twitter love for them, but he thinks it was because they're charming not because of their dancing. He encourages them to bring it with their solos.
Asuka and Vitolio: Dancing for their lives. I'm not surprised. I just didn't love their genre, and I wanted them to bring some serious personality to it.
Judges reaction: Mary is not shocked. She urges them to dance like they've never danced before.
Brandon and Janette: Safe. I didn't really think ballroom would knock them out of the competition so I'm happy with these results.
Jonathan and Karla: Dancing for their lives. I'm not terribly shocked. I did have some trouble with Jonathan last night, and it looks like he brought his partner down with him.
Something new they're trying this season that I can do nothing but support is to feature a different style of dance from around the world each week. Tonight we get a taste of the tango, and it is served hot piping hot. Merriam LeRici and Leonardo Barrio Nuevo were amazing. In general, I'm a fan of the tango, and they did not disappoint me. I'm not sure I can get enough of these two incredible, sexy dancers. I didn't want to take my eyes away for even one second! I was watching with a friend, and she made me watch it again. Perhaps "made me watch it again" is too strong. I was more than willing to watch that performance again. I saw some very impressive and intricate footwork. Amazing focus between them. Nice lifts, wonderful emotion. Their concentration and connection is wonderful. I could watch dancing like this for hours. Very nice finish. They were amazing throughout. What a treat to watch.
Dancing for their lives
Paris: Her contemporary piece had great technique going for it. I'm not sure I'm connecting emotionally with her, though. I did like what I saw. We'll see if it's enough.
Tony: I've seen more personality and technique from him before. I just wasn't feeling it. Was it just me, or did he kind of seem to be flailing around the stage? I thought we'd really see something special here.
Asuka: Ballroom solos are always hard, but she brought some sexy back and great high energy and personality. I enjoyed it. Great footwork. And I loved her little flouncy skirt. I'm not sure I loved that sexy face she was putting on at the end, but I do enjoy her.
Vitolio: His jumping splits are always impressive. Very emotional. I was right there with him. It probably didn't hurt that he wasn't wearing a shirt. Very powerful. I'm into it.
Karla: Nice control. Very nice technique.
Jonathan: Very acrobatic, which I didn't love. I think it helped him to showcase his physical strength but I wasn't feeling it.
Featured musical performance of the week: Sean Kingston. Those of you who know me know I don't usually talk about anything non-dance related having to do with this show. However, I'm always interested to see if dancers are featured in the musical performances, and I love when they are. So enjoyed what I saw. That's all I'll say.
So, who's going home? Can you even stand the suspense? If I had to choose I wouldn't mind seeing Paris and Jonathan go home.
Girls: The judges are unanimous.
Karla: Very good. Her solo was strong, but she needs to be careful that is isn't just a series of steps. Nigel tells her to bring your own personality. She did enough to remain in the competition. (Nigel is also quick to point out that this decision isn't just based on what the judges saw tonight or last night. They always try to cast the show so they represent all the different genres.)
Asuka: All she has going for her is ballroom and the jive. She's a little star when she's performing.
Paris: She didn't bring everything she could bring. Looking at the other contemporary dancers, she'll be leaving.
Boys: The judges are again unanimous. They didn't think any one of the three danced particularly well this evening. They didn't think what they saw from any one of them was good enough to stay in the competition for very long.
Vitolio: The judges didn't see his personality in his routines, and they feel that something isn't clicking for him so far in the studio. They're not sure how he's going to regain it but he'd better learn how quickly because they keep him.
The judges are disappointed in both Tony and Jonathan. They were both in their genres — or close to them — but didn't do very well.
Tony: The judges were surprised he did locking, but he didn't do it very well.
Jonathan: He was a little better last night. His dancing wasn't great, but his gymnastics were. They decide to keep him.
I am so shocked Tony is being sent home. I thought he had enough charisma to make it at least a few more weeks, and I thought the judges wanted to see him develop a bit more. Was I impressed with his dancing tonight? Not at all. Did I want to see him stay over Jonathan? Yes. I guess that goes to show you that no one is safe (a lesson we learned bitterly with Natalie during Vegas week). I'm sad to see Paris go but of the three I think she was the weakest.

I was shocked with Tony going home as well. I thought he would have lasted at least a couple of more weeks. I just new that Paris was going to be the one to go because she definitely didn't bring it. Like you said; no one is safe.
