New Job!

I just accepted a new position in my building. I will move up to 7th grade Social Studies and 8th grade US History. Good bye to grading all that 6th grade ELA writing! I am so excited to finally teach the content areas that are my specialty. And now, the work begins . . .

I moved up from ELL this last school. Now I am doing mainstream students. YES, no more extras paperwork. Students that know how to read and write. I even have some on and above grade level. Good luck next year with social studies only. I am still self-contain sixth grade, but I like it that way.
