2009-11-1/2 1730 hours…Welcome home dear hearts, welcome home…

Don’t know if you want to come in or not… I might still be germy or sumfin. Had your shots? Already had cold or flu? Then come on in..,. grab some coffee or decaf… set a spell in front of the logs… Non smokers over here and smokers over yonder by the vent fan… Leave some room for me by the fan! At this age, you think I’m gonna quit now? I don’t think so! Oh well…

Any way, I made it down to the chicky pen to feed… fed them… put some feed out for the crows…made out the checks for bills… all to the mail box and bout froze my buns off! Sheesh, I am not geared for 40+ degree temps with a steady wind blowing from the North East! Can you say: turning blue but not from the giggles?

view link

Also, while playing with the critters on the drive way, I saw an ALL BLACK wooly worm! On my drive way! Now, this is another first! I’ve never seen a wooly worm in a grassy area before and now one on the gravel drive? Oh dear… Does this mean we are in for a hard winter here or what?

Then, the other day, I was talking about Seets again. Told ya he followed me around like a puppy dog. Never had to tie him to the post unless I wanted to get sumfin done.

One weekend, the Owner of the riding stable and his wife were gone… and, God help us all, left me in charge. Got up early… loaded the beetle with stuff for a cookout. I was all clean neat and tidy… off I went at daybreak… headed for the farm to feed the grandsons breakfast…Pancakes, bacon and eggs… lordy pete, could those kids ever eat.

I mention neat and tidy for reason cause neat and tidy lasted for a VERY short time… The gang didn’t call me ‘Calamity Jane’ for nothing. Sure as shooting, not even 5 steps from the car, I would get into sumfin and end up filthy before I could get to the tack room! Lololol

Just try wearing a fancy western shirt…ruffles and all… white in color… hair neat and tidy too… a least amount of make up… and your horse sneezes on you…! More than once! And then rubs up against you… Hi Mom… I love you Mom… Scratch my belly, Mom! Feed me, Mom… Got any cookies in the car, Mom?

Try dragging a humongous dog type horse out of the window of a VW Beetle. Seets was just making sure he or I hadn’t missed sumfin good to eat! Any or all of the above can ruin a clean outfit in a heartbeat. Especially on a parade day. Remind me to tell you about the parade! This story is a lulu! lolol

The grandsons of the owner were no help either! They would get so tickled and be cracking up while I was fussing with Seets… Seets didn’t like men… and could really bite hard… so they tell me. The guys wouldn’t mess with him unless they had to.

Well, anyway, on this babysitting day, I took a bird feeder kit with me… to keep my hands busy during the slack periods.

Reins were wrapped around the saddle horn… I am at the picnic table under the mulberry tree. Seets is sort of dozing behind me.

I open the kit… and ended up gluing that bird feeder together a half a dozen times. Seets just HAD to check out the feeder! His head comes over my left shoulder… Use right eye to look… right nostril to sniff and blow. (Blowing promptly blew the pieces apart) I put parts back together… then Head over right shoulder… left eye to check item… sniff blow, and there goes the feeder into separate parts again! Hmmm… Critters and some hobbies do NOT mix well… remind me to tell you about the kitty and the crocheting!

Ah, the memories… and the lafter!

Later all of mine… take care and go in safety always… Remember the little things, they add up.

Many hugs, much love and loads of lafter… meems

2009-11-4 1510 hours. Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home…

Much to my enemies displeasure, I think I am gonna live! I think I’ve had the flu or sumfin equally interesting. LOLOL At my age, I can’t tell a whole lot of difference…flat on my back is not all it’s cracked up to be.

Emails… All kinds of problems with my emails. Windows Live decided to take over this puter and all my emails. If you’ve sent any messages and rec’d no response, please resend them. I only have Incredimail now and I have lost some of my emails that were listed in WLive. Will it never cease?

Somewhere in the last few days, I rec’d a request by a lady to locate a veteran for her friend. The Friend and the Vet had almost married back during the Nam War; had finally lost touch with each other. Just letting the lady know I was unable to locate any info… The last name of the Vet is Jones…….

A note to Therman….Thank you for the sweet and kind hearted comments but I absolutely refuse to open a bed & board for aliens. Even if you do buy my mountain and build the structures, I would still need to get off my lazy buns and do some work! Thanx anyway!

HEADS UP! Does any one know where/how to get the MIA?POW bracelets?
I talked to a friend at Ft. Campbell. She puts up with me… God love her and her halo! Anyway she suggested the Military museum gift shop. No luck there either. Gift shop advised me to Google for the info…This I have not done yet.

Two days ago, I rec’d a message from Suzy (of blue wire fame) asking me to contact all of mine. Today, I am mentioning it here in the news. I have all kinds of ideas but I don’t know “how to.”

The ‘Skins’ section needs some military backgrounds from each of our branches of service for the upcoming Veterans Day. Suzy honey if you are reading this, How bout the stars and bars that were hung in the front windows of service members homes during the second world war.

Anyway, if you have any posters, ideas on finding something representing all our different services, send them to Suzy at Eons or contact me and I will try to forward.

Another HEADS UP…I have started a new group for the friends, families, Veterans themselves and any active member of the military services…Army…Navy…Coast Guard… Marines… The group is called ARMED FORCES NEWS & UPDATES.

It is under construction and not quite finished yet but it is at least up and running.

I wanted to call it ADOPT A BASE or something similar… but it would be easier to find with the ARMED FORCES heading.
Please, adopt a base or a branch of the military. Be one of our roving reporters and post all the news that you can. The News goes all over the world now… There are so many of ours who would appreciate the latest from their home bases.

view link Or you can go to my profile page and click on the link to groups there…

NOTE… some things may/might be removed from this posting site (or edited) if the items might be considered a security risk for ours.

Later. Need to go rest…. Take care and go in safety always…Remember to love one another… We are all we have.

Many hugs, much love and lots of laffter… meems, the addled

2009 NOV 6 0350 hours… Welcome home dear hearts, welcome home.

I know, I know! It’s not even 4:00 am yet and here I am at the puter already! Sheesh!

The following is sad and heartbreaking… read at your own risk.

Something I didn’t mention in yesterday’s news…Jessie’s husband, Gary, was found dead on Monday. I received a call from a friend of theirs asking for verification. I started checking into this sad news and finally was able to verify his death as fact.

Last evening, I received a call from our veterinarian friend, Joey. Would I take or help find homes for the 9 dogs left behind? As much as I would like to take any or all of them, I cannot. Finances will not allow it. However, I CAN try to find homes for as many as I am able.

Gary’s brother, J.T., had called Joey for help. Joey advised I would be receiving a call from J.T….No problem… I got busy on the phone…I found a possible home for one so far.

J.T. called…These dogs have approximately 36 hours to live. J.T. stated he “could not take them home to Chicago on Saturday and would not abandon them here.”

What can I say?

And then there is the Ft. Hood incident.

Be at peace, mine. Rest, tour of duty is over. Go in safety.

My deepest and sincerest sympathy to all. meems

2009-11-7 0428 hours…Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home.

Get in here and grab a cuppa sumfin and get warm. Sheesh, it sure is chilly out there AND dark! Do you have any idea of how dark it can get out in the middle of nowhere? In the middle of the nite? Just the critters, the safety light and a little past the full of the moon? Lolol

Oh, but I had a 0100 hours visitor! Viva was throwing a fit…I grabbed the .22 revolver and out I went… I fired a round. A few more barks from Viva and all was finally quiet! It’s funny in one way but an aggravation in another.

Somebody (guess who) was in the lower corner of the lower field with a duck caller. Second time this past week. Mr. A can be a real pain. He seems to get a charge out of pestering the unmarried women of the area in the middle of the nite.

He’s finally learned to quit harassing the married women… their hubbies get just the least mite upset! Can you say: got the stuffing beaten out of him, Mr. A?

Mr. A is a prime example of the saying “the difference between a man and a dog? Once trained, the dog never forgets!” Anna adds “dogs don’t complain” ! Gotcha all you guys! Lololol

Safety first! This old lady will be in the fall out shelter by the time you guys read this!

It just sank in that today is SATURDAY! How did it get to be Saturday already? I missed the reminder to ‘Wear Red tomorrow’ on Thursday. And the Wear Red day on Friday. I apologize… I promise I’ll try to do better in the future.

1454 hours…

Went back to bed for a while…Very little starch left in this body and somebody let the air out of my toes! Don’t worry tho… I’ll be back to normal (whatever that is) very shortly! The worst is over… or not! Lolol I am sort of concerned tho… Little Jake and the Marv are being nice to me!!! Little Jake has reason to be nice! I have give him the ultimate threat! Little bit of dark humor coming up here… be warned.

Ya know how I always how things could get worse… I could be your next door neighbor? I have come up with a “worse”! Oh yeah!

I’ve decided that Broom and me could be buried on one side of LJ when the time comes .. (within hearing distance anyway) and the Red Head would be on the other side, of course!

Just imagine the punishment of being buried between two gabby red headed women … one with a broom! For the rest of eternity! Well, I was a red head a long time ago! Course, mine came out of a bottle but the personality fit! Lolol Gotcha LJ! Again! ROFLMAO! Love you….

I think I feel a lot better… I love picking on mine! Lolol

And then the Marv called me the other nite… just checking to see if I was still around! Oh yeah! This is really a BIG compliment! Like most men… he hates to talk on the phone. He was also hung over! What a party animal! Marv and I swap prices on items all the time…

He lives on the west coast and I am sort of middle America! He was paying $3 for half a gallon of milk… while here, a gallon of milk went for $5. Cereal is outrageous! Rent out there is outrageous too.

I threaten the Marv with moving in next door… Just me, the broom, 7 dogs and one cat. AND a lot of noisy pots and pans. I am getting the giggles! Lolol I will be his semi-automatic alarm clock… especially on the morning after of a nite on the town… Can you imagine trying to sleep off a hang over and waking to an ungodly serenade of crashing, clanging pots and pans… The dogs doing a sing song and the emom yodeling off key! Broom keeping time thumping on the side of the house? Ah yes!

Lordy pete… at 1500 hours today… I had to call Richmond 911…possible emergency! Tell ya all about that tomorrow.. Sheesh!

Later all of mine… need to feed my face… meems is hungry.

Take care and go in safety always… Remember to bring lots of ammo if you move to the mountains and pistol of your choice.

Many hugs, much love and lots of lafter… meems

2009-11-7 CONT. Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home.

1922 hours. Yesterday’s news early edition was fairly mild. I’m almost to the point where I could ask the Creator for a few minutes of boredom. I’m afraid to ask for fear boredom would be worse than the chaos that occurs around here almost daily…

I’m back to packing the .38 on my hip again!

I DO believe KK has really gotten the right idea about me.. She calls me MMM. Magnetic Mountain Maven! Emphasis being on the word ‘magnetic’… No, I am not bragging or blowing my own horn! Just a statement of fact!

Remember that I was talking about Mr.A yesterday? Hang on to that thot while you read the rest of today’s news… lololol

Ok… now grab some coffee or tea or what ever you want… sit back and relax and try to follow the following… lololol

I am back here in the apartment working on the news… Spud is sprawled on the bed behind me snoring up a storm of his own.

Then all hell breaks loose… Viva is alarm barking! Spud comes up off the bed and races for the back door. I follow Spud down the hall. He goes out the back door and I head for the side door. NW corner of house is where the doggy alarms are going off.

Viva is looking up the road. I hear a man’s voice…loudly saying ‘help me’ groans follow… I yell…”Do you need help?” Groaning voice answers ‘yes’. I yell I’ll be right back.

I come in house… go to phone.. call Richmond 911. Relay the info I have. Grab pistol and strap it on; grabbed the keys and out the door I go again.

I drive up to the ‘new neighbors’ drive way, pull in and shut off the truck. I am watching the dogs and listening. The dogs go down to the creek and come back up several times. I call and call. No response… I wait.

I watch the dogs… I call out again. Nothing! I wait and listen. I hear nothing. I call out several times. Still nothing.

I am standing in the middle of the road, very slowly turning in circle..listening.

Two rounds are fired behind me…To the northwest of the cemeteries. I yell to fire one round if you need help. Nothing!

Then a single round is fired from Mr. A’s location opposite the second cemetery. Hmmmm…. Then I hear what sounds like Mr. A war whooping and squalling. Well, ratz! Is Mr. A tormenting the lil old lady again?

I climb into the truck and come home. I call Richmond back and give them an update. Trooper will continue this direction anyway.

Half an hour to 45 minutes later, I have a KY trooper passing my driveway. Without my knowing, my address has been changed and now has a letter added to it.

Wonderful! Now there are two 413 Allen roads! On Monday, I’ll need to call the post office and ask Doug what IS my address? Lolol He ought to love this question… I can hear him now… Oh dear!

Trooper returns! Pulls in drive… I ask if he wants me to put pistol away. Tpr shakes head no.. I tell him what I have observed/heard.

Tpr tells me that Mr. A is not the guilty party this time. Mr. A was taken to Lexington hospital late Friday nite after being stabbed! Then who did I hear at his trailer…who fired the rounds… who did the crazy sounds and war whooping? Sheesh!

Tpr says he will check at Mr. A’s and then leaves… heads up the road to check things out. A neighbor, Clayton has followed the Trooper here.

Clayton, who lives a mile down stream, had a meeting with a hunter out behind his place earlier. Guy was in camo’s, wearing hunting orange cap and vest. Carrying a 30-30 or a 30-06 with heavy duty scope. Hunter says he is hunting rabbits (?) and had shot a deer. It was the deer that Clayton had heard… A deer which was moaning and groaning (?) sounding like a wounded man… Deer don’t moan and groan when dying. I double checked with Anna and a couple of local hunters.

However, an injured/dying bear does make those sounds. That’s all I need… a wounded bear in the neighborhood. Any wounded animal is a danger but a wounded and angry bear is the worst. I heard a man’s voice though and I understood what he was saying.

No, there was no search for a possible victim.

I sat down finally on the front porch with the dogs. Just me and the dogs.. I think. Tomorrow, I will sit out front again and watch for circling buzzards. Yes, they do circle and yes, they do roost down wind from the holler.

I did see some of my flyguys today. Oh my, did I get flashed! I cracked up.. God love ‘em they make my days go better. Oh yeah!

I think I am worn out… Later all of mine… take care and go in safety always. Remember to keep an eye and ear out for the injured critter! Safety first!

Many hugs and much love… lots of lafter… meems

2009-11-9 Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home!

Hey everybody… come out on the front porch or the drive… chairs and little stools for setting. One rocking chair… and kids, I’ve had it for years… comfy and adjustable that rocker. I want to thank all of you for your kind thots (Well except for a couple of people who shall remain nameless for the moment! I’ll tell on them later!) lloll

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
THE FOLLOWING IS FROM THE ROTTEN KID AND ROVING REPORTER/GUEST COLUMNIST! DONNA IN MAUI!

Coconut Wireless to Emom’s Mountain News…Newsflash on BBB (Bamboo Bulletin Board) this a.m. reads as follows. SUNDAY...11-8-09...Barking Doggie Commando alerts Local Mountain Woman. Pistol Packin LOMOWO hears man's voice..."Help me...Groans...says Needs Help." Revved Up LOMOWO makes 911 Kawobonga call to Richmond.

Lights...Camera...Action...LOMOWO scouts immediate area in truck...on foot.
Yelling and listening are responded to by fire power. Muddled address mess adds to confusion. Trooper arrives...says suspected neighbor Loon Mr. A is not the groaning man.

MYSTERY ABOUNDS. Who fired shots? Who groaned and said help? Man?...beast?...too much Vanilla Drinking by LOMOWO? Answer pending/LOMOWO spent/Sheriff's Dept going hmmmmm.

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% %%%

Where do I start today. Donna’s questions are just a few of many I rec’d about yesterday’s News… lolol I mean, the situation was serious as far as I was concerned but I had to laff because of the circumstances.

Re: Mr. A was stabbed… Don’t know by whom… where it occurred nor exactly when! The mountain telegraph is in motion but no info coming in yet.

Then yesterday early afternoon, I called Dotty and Butch answered the phone. (Did I mention Butch is one of mine?) Anyway, Butch tells me he’s on his way up to get the chickens. I was down to 6… the last doodle disappeared. Ok, see ya in a bit…

I had asked Butch if he would take the chickens and he said he would. I can’t take care of them this winter… Just not able and I sure can’t run the risk of slipping and falling if we have ice/snow storms this winter. Well, ratz. I missed the crowing of the roosters and the hens cackling this morning.. Viva threw a hissy fit down at the pen though. Barking and looking around the pen. I bet she’s gone down there to look a dozen times or more.
I think in her mind, the chicks were on her duty roster and now they are missing.

Well, Butch finally comes chugging up the road in his old red pick up! He goes thru the pack greeting! Comes up on the porch and says… “I think they (the dogs) like me!

Of course, instead of saying Hey, how are ya? I take my favorite quote from Star Trek..The Trouble With Tribbles… “Well, there’s no accounting for taste.” And throw it at him!

Butch replies, I got taste…
Yup. Bad and no class! me

Butch comes up and plops his buns in the comfy rocker. We got to fussing back and forth about who has the worst running pick up… his or mine. We decided that mine was the noisiest and his was the worst running. Lolol

Then here comes Clayton… Clayton works for Butch as a handy man when needed. So now, I have two visitors on the front porch along with the six pack + one!!!

Butch tell Clay to go down and start stuffing hens and roosters into a dog carrier. OK… Off Clay goes, down the hill on his 4 wheeler. Not 5 mins and Clay is back without chickens and sans dog carrier!

Discussion follows: Them mf’s bit me! Bit me on both hands! Especially the setting hen! I fell off the chair… Butch was giggling and Clay was still complaining. Butch says come on, I’ll show you how to do it!

I am squalling but I DID manage to get out,… wait.. let me get the camera… I come racing into the house…grab the cam and go flying out the back door, down the steps, around the mimosa, down the hill thru the back yard. Just a hustling, me!

By the time I got to the pen, the two adult males (trust me, that ain’t saying much at the time) and the dog carrier were inside the main gate.

I plop my buns on a milk crate, put my pop can along side and start crying! I got so tickled I almost wet myself! It got worse… Clay almost fell over trying to reach and grab one chicken. Got a pic of that! Well, I couldn’t breath! I also discovered I can’t take a picture worth a dime when I have the giggles…Steady cam and hysterical giggles just ain’t compatible at all!

I got bonked on the head by a flying rooster. I just put my head down and sobbed. Clay was cussing and Butch was grinning for all he was worth… I have pondered since they left whether I had been assigned to a looney bin without my knowing… my problem with that? I seem to fit!
Here’s some pix of them two idiots in the chickyduck pen… enjoy!

view link Butch and a hen!

view link Clayton and the cage!

view link Two adult males… Clay taking a nose dive to his left! Lolololol

Tears are running again! OMG! Take care all of mine and go in safety always. Remember the world, in its way, has a sense of the ridiculous! Lololol

2009-11-10 1350 hours… Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home.

I received all kinds of comments about the ‘two adult males in the chickyduck pen’. I’ve laffed till I cried again.. Now, I’m not sure what Marv’s drawpig link means, but maybe I’m not supposed to…

SherriAnne commented on your blog post:
"Who needs cable when you can have this? And , no infomercials!
Sometimes you just have to wonder about the ranking of humans and chickens on the intelligence scale! The inhabitants of the 'Chicken Hilton' to the south of me are still hale and hearty. I'm hoping they'll hibernate- but I know that's a little too much."
view link from the Marv! Lololol

“Those dog-gone chickens can be mean! I learned not to mess with the babies when i was a kid. I had an mother chicken chase all the way down the hill from the barn one day! WOW!!

I take it the guys survived.” This from Junie! Lolol

My fonts are playing mind games again. That’s ok tho, I’t might straighten itself out when I start posting to the groups… or not! Lololol

It’s sleepy weather here…Cloudy, damp, cool and misty! The critters agree… they are zonked out from wall to wall! and snoring loudly!

Cutting this short today…am still tired from whatever I had and now I am sneezing again… the warm weather has brought out the pollens again… lolol

Semper Fi my Marines… happy anniversary… Hoooo Aaaah!

2009-11-12 0649 hours Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home!

Remember tomorrow is WEAR RED DAY! SUPPORT OUR TROOPS

I got to thinking last nite (a very dangerous pastime for me). The more I thought, the angrier I became.

I don’t often say anything about politics or the Laws of the Land. I don’t because mainly I don’t know enuf to discuss politics with any degree of knowledge. (There is probably an oxymoron in that last sentence?!?)

The following is just based on supposition:

Just suppose that the old men of ‘Congresses all over the world’ who make the laws, were forced to abide by them. Wonder if ‘they’ could manage on Social Security or on the communist way of life?

Just suppose that all the ‘World Leaders from all over the world’ were always to be first in line.

All of the above are “leaders – movers- and shakers” right?

Then, by God, let them get out there and lead!

Let them be FIRST in battle, let them be the FIRST to suffer, let them do without care after being wounded in battles! Let their families lead the way in showing how brave they are when the head of the family lies dead and or lost in a foreign land.

According to them, (if this is true) counsel the elderly on assisted suicide…Get rid of the elderly in a neat and tidy fashion. If this is true, lead the way Ladies and Gentlemen of our Lady Earth!

Does any one remember the movie Soylent Green?

Let these Leaders of the world go first! Show me how it is and how it will be done to the rest of us!

For the first time in my life, I wrote a letter to the President of OUR COUNTRY! This was in ref to and after Katrina devastated our lands.

I’ve lived a long time and seen a lot of political nonsense in my time but I have never been so embarrassed for our country as when the President failed to respond to a major emergency. (I can’t see General Patton doing this)

I wrote to the ‘man’ and said that I was ashamed of him… that he had embarrassed us before the world..that he had failed his people…I said a few other things…
Most men who attain the presidency rise to become better men than they were. The Katrina president failed miserably. This was not a time for political posturing, this was actual and real! He failed!

That’s enuf of that now… I am still angry.. and if the managers feel this is too much of a diatribe for our members, feel free to delete this one…no hard feelings, I just had to get this out of my system. It was choking the life out of me…just as it is doing to my country.

Remember all that our country is NOT a democracy; it is a Republic… “OF, BY AND FOR THE PEOPLE”. We are the ones who have the final say…

Take care all of mine. Go in safety always. God, Bless America and God, please watch over all of ours.

Many hugs, much love and kind thoughts… meems

Remember today is WEAR RED FOR OUR TROOPS day!

Well, get out here and park your buns! It’s too pretty a day to stay inside. The critters are chasing and playing all over the yard! LOLOL Growling, tripping each other, playing tag, sneezing and snorting all over each other.. lolol

Viva is out there sunning herself while Maxfield chews on her tail feathers! Newbie is observing the activities in the most dignified manner. Crackin’ me up…

We all can remember a time when Newbie was removing the legs from all the chairs… eating the doors off their hinges… eating the comforters and the feather pillows. Remember the toilet paper and paper towel rolls? Remember him chewing on my toes… stealing my cigars and mangling the packs? I was positive that neither one of us would live for him to see age two!

Him is the best feller ever now… gentle and sweet natured… but he is still growing! Oh Dear, and now he has his winter fur…. Looks just like a big yellow bear with a long nose! Lolol He is very dignified and laid back… But he still rules the roost out here. Viva is the more aggressive of the two. When she growls, the little ones stand to attention!

I stay out of the middle of the dominance thing… The critters sort it out among themselves…And I am still top dog up here on the mountain side. GUN is still the magic word! Oh yeah!

A word to the wise. If the Newbie ever comes up and leans against you, try not to fall down. Another thing, if Newbers leans on you, that is his stamp of approval… be complimented! If he stands sideways between the two of us… don’t move… much safer for you!

I’ve tried to get outside more often the last week or so… Flirting with my flyguys… Oh, I love getting flashed! I still haven’t been able to verify the ‘mooning’ thing yet. The old eyes ain’t what they used to was… but you bet your last dime, I’m a gonna keep trying!

Keeping this short… Scotty has been mowing the large fields up wind of the house. Can you say ‘sneezing again from the pollen and dust?’… lolol

Take care all of mine. Go in safety always. Remember to be open to the world around you… there is soooo much to see and learn.

Many hugs, much love and lots of lafter… meems

Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home!

Gonna try this one more time... Server wiped me out totally on the first try. Was all done and trying to post to VNV...I had saved the news like I always do. But it disappeared... all gone! lolol Can you say: grumble mumble cuss and fuss? Oh yeah!

Shorter version for this attempt.

Had to call Richmond 911 last nite... drive by shot at dogs. put the mountain telegraph to work... Got make, color and license plate on subject ... dark windows.. relayed info... dogs ok

Butch and Dottie had a preggers nanny goat shot several days ago. Goat is still alive but seems to be paralized in hind quarters.

Sow bear and cub spotted in the area...

Four of Jessie's dogs have homes.

CNN is running a program "Veterans In Focus" as I write. Well done, CNN.

Well, ratz... my one necklace came apart and I lost my bear w/heartline and my Kokopelli but I did not lose my Circle of Life pendant.

A heads up... M&M's... check you ads on your group page. Might just have a relationship to your group. Brot to my attn by Massracin...

I saw one about the military on one of my vet groups... can't remember at the moment which one.

Watched a program on NatGeo last nite... "Ancient Astroid"... Offered an explanation of the singulararity of the field of foreign glass in the Sahara. Would you believe I read about this unusual glass when I was about 10 years old? I've lived long enuf to get some answers to some of my questions. lolol

I was around when the first radar beam was bounced off the moon... and now 'they' know the moon DOES hold water... Oh dear... I can see pop cans there now... just a matter of time...
