I did this using Painter Classic and Paint Shop Pro Photo 2X

I have PS Pro Photo also and I can't do a thing with it - I'm impressed!

The blending you see here is done with a pallette knife in Painter Classic and the framing is done with the Paint Shop.

I really do like this Pat. I hope you don't mind me suggesting a little something though? The horse's left hind leg should be darker than the right and is that a rock where his hoof should be or his hoof? If it's his hoof it's out of shape. It really needs to show at least part of that hoof. Maybe with a little grass covering it.
