Quilting Links

Hi everyone,

This is the "parking lot" for posting links to quilting information, free patterns, and quilting teaching sites.

All you have to do to add a link is:
1 Click on reply
2 Type in the name of the link
2 Paste the link into the document.
3 Write a short blurb about what the site offers.

Using the reply feature, the links will not have to be updated. They will be entered into the thread chronologically. They won't be in alphabetical order but they will all be in one spot.

My plan is to keep a track of the links posted in a Word document. About once a month I'll clean house so the thread doesn't get too long. I'll delete the posts for the month and post the word document as the first reply. Then we can all start all over again posting new links.

If you have any questions, let me know. If you want some help posting the link, you can send it along with the name and description to me. I put long links into TinyURL.com to make them shorter and more manageable.

This link is great for two different reasons.

~One it has a quilt pattern for using up stash.~

~Two it has wonderful instructions for making easy geese using less
fabric. There is instructions on how to make these easy geese for
any size.~

Above is the direct link to Sharon Schambers free teaching videos.

She has wonderful videos on basting, sandwiching, binding, free motion quilting and more. Check out the site. I spent an evening listening to her videos. She has a great technique using boards helping with almost fool proof sandwiching. I tried it and was wonderful.

On another list, JoanieNC posted a link to the Sharon Schamber website. Sharon has a number of free narrated videos on topics like basting the quilt sandwich, binding the quilt, magic triangles. She's very explicit and clear. Her quilting is just amazing.
