What Stage Are They/You in Now?

It seems lately our visits agitate Ma Katie more than they help. I still go to make sure she is bathed, etc. as there is very little communication.

She is into roaming and cannot stay still. Just wanders aimlessly and it is really like a caged animal. We go out on the patio and more times than not, she turns and wheels "back into the house", not even realizing she has left us sitting there.

She is 96 and so healthy in her body except her fear of standing/falling keeps her in her wheelchair. She just isn't able to think complete thoughtsand this frustrates her. Wonder if our visit are helping her or aggavating her. She could be this way a long time.

My Mom is 98 and she is not as cheerful as she used to be. She doesn't seem to enjoy life anymore and gets easily frustrated.

Vee,

Thinking of you and your mom. I thing they just wear out and
are frustrated at the lack of ability to do the things they once did.

Praying for you and yours.
