Just Checking In

We have been on a roller ride of life, literally (:
Family went to Six Flags with my son and his girlfriend (who were down from California), daughter and her three children and husband this weekend. Four days of barbecues,
swimming, catching up, etc.

I am so pooped I could pop! When I get tired like this, I can't find a thing, and feel very disoriented. I always think that must be how Ma Katie feels most of the time.

For the past 8 weeks, our house has been going under renovations ~ New Kitchen and Bathroom! mainly to accomodate my mom more. The whole downstairs is now pretty open so that she can get around better and other stuff too of course - walk in shower with seat and handrail; higher sink;, higher toilet;, thing in faucet so that she can't scauld herself,etc. Thankfully the guys are gone (coming back in a few weeks to finish because they calculated wrong on the large crown moulding that they have to order and other odds and ends. But it looks spectacular! But what an ordeal!

Glad it is almost finished for you. We had our bathroom and bedroom torn out and put back together for two months and it is finished!!

Way to go with the making it handicapped accessible. Makes life so much easier for all.
