Weather seems to affect me too. Damp and cold make it hurt. Warm and dry seems the best.
Oh yes, I always know any more when the weather is going to change I ache so bad. And I agree with redferd warm and dry is the best!
Me too warm and dry is best. I have my own Homeopathic remedy for my aching joints so mostly it is faint as a reminder of things. If you have some Arnica cream about it might help. I used it for years to effectively give me good pain relief and movement. It has no side effects (it does not like open skin or scrapes and may irritate that some) It will not interfere with your own medications as it stimulates your immune system and does not block out the pain as pain killers do.
Good luck,
John
Yes,it bothers me also, the cold and damp weather!I can tell when it is going to rain by my body aches!
"Diffidently"! Hi everyone I'm new to the group. When i was younger i use to hear my mom and grandparents complaint about the rain coming because their knees were aching or they were stiff. Now at the young age of 54, i understand what they meant. I'm a walking weather person ready to forecast the weather by aches, stiffness and pains.

I have rheumatoid arthrtis for 30 yrs and have never been able to tell when its going to rain ect. But I have a girl friend that has it and can. I do know that cooler weather makes my joins hurt more, thats why I love the summers it can never be to hot. I get around great then.Dreading winter and the cold.
Hi! Just joined and looks like I'm in the right place! Everyone is saying the same thing..........echo's of my complaints!! Have an appt the 16th with a Dr in the next 'biggest' town for the results of a bone scan..........hoping he will have some solutions for the pain!! Really getting tired of not being able to do what I want to !!! Do topical creams/ointments really give relief?? Dr has forbidden me to use oral meds due to stomach problems. Tired of taking pain pills!! Any suggestions would be appreciated !! Thanks
