Ran it yesterday under mild weather conditions. Very nice time. I took a second place finish in my age category and brought home a medal. It's only the second time I've brought home a medal in all my running years. I was suprised and excited! Got a nice long sleeve Tshirt also. My 4 mile time was 33:03
That's awesome, Scott!! Congrats on the medal! That's quite a feat! I'm excited for you! Even if it is six months late. It takes me 54 minutes to run 4 miles!!
That's OK. You just keep on truckin' It's good for you. Look around and enjoy the ride as you go, hopefully down some nice peaceful country road!
Nice Job Scott ! I like the 4 milers. Not a long ways, but challenging if you want to medal and you did !
I ran a 4 miler turkey trot in Santa Barbara on Thanksgiving morning. Would you believe it was 75 degrees at the 9am start. I finished second place also with a 29:21. Not my best time, but not horrible for 60 years old I guess. had a great time though, lots of food and drink after and it is great just being with other folks who love to run.
