I know what you mean about loving the customers and getting love back. I had a couple who used to cruise past the window; if I wasn't working, they'd keep going. And a dear sweet old woman who we called, "Sunshine Lady", because she always brought such sunshine when she came in. And then she was dying of cancer, and we missed her so terribly. Sundays just weren't the same. When the tornado came through back in '91, I had drivers from all over the country calling us to see if we were ok. That was nice. And when I went to California (1st time ever), I met people all the way there that knew me!! Fantastic!!
Rainy icky day here today. Gotta go to Wally World.
