New

Hi,
I am new here and just joined this group to see what things happen here. I am an oil painter but living in an apartment has made me use acrylics. I am disabled because my spine decided to disintegrate the discs in my neck. Anyway, it has allowed me to explore my passion in life, art and painting. So, after selling a painting at a juried art show at the Western Washington State fair, I decided to start a series. I intend to paint for at least 2 years and then try to exhibit. I would appreciate any advise, critiques, suggestions or experiences that anyone has had trying to do this sort of thing. Or am I going about it all wrong, or is my work even worthy of what I am talking about. Encouragement is greatly appreciated. I look forward to your replies. Michael aka Grumsby

One of my favorite websites is "DailyPainters.com". There you will see the efforts of many accomplished artists and follow through to their galleries and blogs. You can and will learn a lot from them. It's free.
