Hi Donna,
This is kind of old but I found something we have in common among others. I've been smoke free for 13 days. I promised myself I'd quit before the end of the year. Here's hoping it sticks this time.
Hi Cari! I just saw this. Kid ,I didn,t make my quit, but I have reduced my smoking drastically. I went from 2 pks a day, to less then a pack a day. I quit smoking in the house and leave my cigs in the pantry where I have to think about really having one, then get up, get one and take it outside. That really helped me alot. Good luck to you hon. I know how darn hard it is to do.
Donna,
Good for you. Every step is beneficial for your health and I'm sure eventually you will quit completely.
I'm on day 14 and the Chantix does help me a lot. I'm just hoping I can stay quit after I get off the med.
I tried the Chantix and couldn,t tolerate it. I hope it works for you. I know it has helped many to quit for good. It kept my stomach upset and what was worse I couldn,t sleep for several nights. Hang in there hon.
I figure this is one of the best presents I can give to my kids and grandkids. That's my main motivation.
The Chantix does upset my stomach so I take it just before going to bed. I do have strange dreams but I had those before the Chantix. LOL I don't sleep as well either. I can see why it didn't work for you. No sleep along with withdrawals could be cause for a homicide.
Have a great Thanksgiving.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving too!
