Four new AKC Board members for the Class of 2013 were elected in March. The current economic crisis and declining registrations present great challenges for the current Board. What opportunities do you see for them to address these problems?

When ever income decreases you need to take a look at the other side of the equation, which would be expenses. You cannot spend more than you take it. How necessary is the New York city offices. Rent there is amongst the highest in the nation. With half of the operations already located in North Carolina, why not look into moving the rest of the AKC operations into a lower income and expense market? No the prestige is not there, but that has nothing to do with operating a business in a profittable manner.
