Dialogue is painfully absent on this site. I know that I, and many others, have so many emotions welling up inside of us about where our country is headed. It is frightening to the point of making us silent in our anquish. The fact is that everyday, we hear from thoose who are so hateful, arrogant and intolerant of any debate that does not line up with the politically correct veiws of the elite in power. The climate is so unamerican and so antichristain, that it is hard to believe. The response to the tea parties is a example. The present administration labels these Americans as "extremists, potential terrrorists" and are totally clueless about what is being said. They think that if the average, stupid working American gets $400. in a tax rebate, he will shut up and not see, or not care, that socialism, big government with insurrountable debt will burden his children and grandchildren. The media elites ridicule these American people and call them obscene names,lie about the facts & numbers, and arrogantly dismiss them as idiots. There is a real threat to any American who believes in personal liberty, and especially to any American who would dare to believe in the Christian faith. Dailogue is so difficult because there is so much vitriole, dangerous unamerican propaganda and close minded hatred in high places and suppored by the media that the average person is dumbfounded. Many of us still believe in an America with intelligent political discourse, freedom to worship as the founding fathers fought and died for, fiscal rsponsibility, morality, and an honest work ethic. We can not fathom that these things are no longer a part of the American culture as the people in power have defined America. How can you debate this? All you can do is weep...pray...and let your voice be heard while you still have some remmant of freedom of speech.
