Earthwatch Discovering Itay's Ancient Coast"

I guess I'm just into Romans. I went to South Shields England last year and helped to excavate Arbeia (Roman Fort on Tyne). Had a most marvelous time. Thinking of joining the expedition to Italy's Tuscan coast for the excavation at Poggio del Molino. Anybody been? Is it fun? Do you get very much off time for travel within Tuscany?

I wish someone had replied to your message. I am trying to decide between the two Tuscany archaeological digs. Seaside or living on site with a pool? They both look wonderful. I guess we will have to be good about posting our experiences when we get back. Happy travels.

Wow! You've been everywhere with Earthwatch. Roman Fort on Tyne was my first. Probably coastal Tuscany is next year for me. Happy travels also.
