This little dog has no chance here. I am DESPERATE to get her into a rescue that can help her. PLEASE take a moment to read her story.

blind blue healter puppy in Louisiana

Beignet came to us from a shelter in Pensacola when she was only about 7 months old. We fostered her here for 6 months and she was adopted. A year later, her adopters gave up on her and brought her back. Now I have NO one interested in adopting Beignet.

I am a very small rescue. I am one person and I foster these dogs at my home, two at a time. And I am in Louisiana. We are not very well-known for our wonderful animal welfare situation. So I am stuck with Beignet. I love her but I can't find an adopter for her.

Beignet has too many things wrong with her. She is blind. She has epilepsy. And she is slightly food aggressive. All of these things make it just about impossible for me to find a home for her. But Beignet is a sweet sweet loving little dog. I love her so much but having her here makes it impossible for me to rescue blind dogs.

If you know of a rescue that might consider giving this little dog a chance, please contact me at GEBDR@yahoo.com. If I can't find somewhere for her to go, I might be forced to euthanize her. I have never done this, I would never want to do this EVER EVER EVER but I have to think about the good of the rescue as a whole, and the good of the other dogs in my care.
