Ink Tool

The Ink tool uses a simulation of an ink pen with a controllable nib to paint solid brush strokes with an antialiased edge. The size, shape and angle of the nib can be set to determine how the strokes will be rendered.

Those of you as old as me who remember the fountain pens and ink wells in grade school will understand why I cringe when thinking about ink tools! What a mess! My daughter who has all of the artistic talent in our family could do wonders with this tool. As seen in my attempt above it just comes out as thick black lines! Let's see what we can learn while we try to keep the ink off our fingertips......

This tool looks interesting. I do calligraphy but I have been playing with this and can't figure out how to adapt this tool to what I know how to do!

Not much available about the ink tool, appears that for those incline to use it for artistic purposes they should be looking into using a graphics tablet. If any useful information comes up about this tool I will update this post. Feel free to add here any information you think will help us understand or use this tool.
