Hi everyone..I just recently found econs.com and now tryig to meet and join in a various groups...such as...travel and dancing...these 2 things are truly a passion I would like to be involved in. I dont travel or dance much at this point in my life, however, I am trying to get back into the swing of things. I wonder if anyone knows of places to dance around the St Louis Mo. area. I will be moving to Illinois soon, actually, right across the river. I am interested in swing dance, line dance, and some ballroom dance. Thanks alot....lind61

Hi, from mid-Illinois. DH and I go to St. Louis periodically to dance at the Casa Loma Ballroom. It is an older, art Deco style. Friday nights is strictly for ballroom dancing with live band.

Some of the local St Louis dance clubs have regular public dancings. Another place is the Crystal ballroom in Staunton, IL.

The senior centers in the central Florida area hold dances. They like both ballroom and big band and are alot of fun. I'm not quite a senior citizen yet but they're always friendly and welcoming. Don't worry about going single. They always have mixers so everyone has a chance to dance. You might even find a regular dance partner!
