Cash Cab II

Cash Cab II ...a revival of our Cash Cab Game from before!...We had so much fun!...The way it works:
1) Someone posts a trivia question...any subject.
2)The next person answers the question posed...if it is correct, then you may pose the following question...if it is wrong after two guesses from others, the person posing the question gives the answer, and posts another question.

Other than against the Moslems in the Holy Land , crusades were also undertaken against 10 other groups . Can anyone name at least 7 of those groups ?

There were crusades against the Prussians , Lithuanians, russians,Cathars,Byzantines, Ottomans,Hussites,Stedingers,Caucasus , and the Protestants in Germany .

The Ottomans had about 160,000 troops to the Byzantines 7,000 . Hard to believe that the great Byzantine Empire had fallen so far that they could only muster 7,000 troops to defend their capitol .

No , not Constantinople . It was the seat of the Orthodox Church . The Catholic Church is the one with the Popes .

But the schism between the eastern rite and the western rite was originally a split of the Catholic church with the two divisions using different languages and different rites. At some point in time the Byzantines decided they didn't want to recognize the infallibility of the Roman prelate. The Greek Orthodox church was not always a completely separate entity from the Roman church.
