I appreciate that you gave my writing group a "heads up" about this group. While I consider myself an artist of sorts, I find I don't have the patience for it that I used to. I AM, however, writing more and more and would love to collaborate with an artist who's style would convey what I envision as appropriate representations for my stories.
Like any budding author, my dream is to see my works on bookstore shelves or highlighted on Amazon's website. And while words alone can constitute a book, at age 64, I can STILL see some of the cover artwork and story illustrations of books I read in my formative years!
I'm spawn of a whole family of gifted artists, so it's no surprize that I'd call myself one as well. But as I said, I find the time spent doing such anymore, less than satisfying - even tho the fruit of such effort can be rewarding.
I'll try putting up a couple of examples of stuff I've done and maybe someone will say "I can do that OR better!" Sure hope so.

Thank You Robert, for inviting me to this group. I'm sure I will enjoy seeing the works of other artists.
I have begun a couple of small children's picture books. They are somewhat personal and inspired by my time with my grandchildren. One is an accordion style small book. My goal is to self publish it and present it as a gift to my grandson, whom inspired the project with his fascination for the moon.
I am not a writer but do love to illustrate and mostly I consider myself a designer and a painter.
