Grinders -- Electric or Hand?

Any preferences? And why?

Electric, definitely, and my favorite brand is Braun. I prefer the finer grind that is almost espresso, to extract all the flavor. I've never used a hand grinder.

I've never used hand either. If anyone does use a hand grinder, please tell us why (besides it being green).

One of my sons made me a hand grinder in shop class. I don't think I moved it with me when I came to Oregon, which means it's still in a box in Illinois.

I use a little Mr. Coffee electric grinder.
