Grand Circle River Cruises
I'm new to the group so you may have covered this already. Has anyone taken the GCT European river cruises? They have some good prices right now and a couple of the itineraries sound great.
I'd like to do that someday. I'm sure it's beaufiful, relaxing and very different from a Caribbean cruise. LiliJ

We just returned from a South American cruise and met many people on the cruise that had taken Grand Circle River Cruises. They all said that they were very pleased with them. It's something that we have been interested in also.

I went on a European river cruise a few years ago and loved it, it was best holiday experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend you take advantage of any good opportunities for one. I found Europe has a lot more variety and different interesting places to see then somewhere like the Caribbean does.

Hi, I have never been on Grand Circle but have taken two river cruises before, one on Uniworld and one on Viking. If you like sight-seeing, they are absolutly the way to go. I took a cruise of the Rhone River two years ago and the Rhine River last month and loved both. The food was very good, the tours were well planned and interesting and cruising from port to port is very relaxing. I'm planning a cruise from Normandy to Paris on the Seine for next year.
