Foreground Select Tool

This tool lets you extract the foreground from the active layer or from a selection.
I have never used this tool before and I am curious as to what it can do and I am anxious to add it to my bag of tricks. ;-)

Gimp's official tutorial page:
Note:Until you press Enter, you can't undo this selection by Ctrl+Z nor by Select → None, and the Undo History is not concerned. To delete this selection, you must select another tool.

I think this video does a good job of covering the basics:

Silent Movie ;-)
In this video it shows where the tutor went back over his image and painted over any holes etc that were left unselected.

Well, that covered most of it, could not find any tutorials that covered the Color Sensitivity other than to just mention it. Playing with the tool I was able to fill in the holes before I clicked Enter, I also was to remove selected areas by holding the CTRL key while painting.
Time to play with this tool!

Well I played with the tool. First image is a photo I took, second image is the result of the foreground select pasted on a black background and the third is the "Sunburst" painting.
