Hello!

I was browsing through groups when the description for this group caught my eye. I like mostly "straight ahead" jazz, especially the Bebop masters such as Sonny Rollins, Gene Ammons, Jackie McClean. Love jazz vocalists too, Suzanna McCorkle, Manhattan Transfer, Cassandra Wilson. Hope to hear from groups members. Please pm and we can compare collections!

Good list, Sonny Rollins is great. St. Thomas is a favorite tune. My collection includes bands like , Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, Elvin Jones, Louis Armstrong, Cannonball Adderly. Diana Krall, John Coltrane, Regina Carter..... and more.

Its good to see some others are taking an interest in this group. I have listened to jazz my whole life. The first sound I heard was some bebop played by Eddie Harris who was at my house every day when he was a teen. I've been photographing Jazz Musicians for 40 years.
I like real classic Jazz and Scat.
