Timbuktu

by David Auster. This quick and easy read is told through the eyes of a dog. A dog that is about to lose the only master he has ever known. Albeit the master is a bit strange he nevertheless loved his dog and the dog returned that love. I strongly urge anyone to read this one. At only 181 pages it can be read in a sitting and will resound in your heart much longer. 5-stars for this one.

This was a very cool book. Thanks for the recommendation. It was a very easy read but I couldn't help but think it was an allegory. It was like reading "Life of Pi". Like Bones was everyman and Willy was a prophet from God? Or am I reading too much into it?

It looks like the author has several books at my library. I'll have to check them out.

5 stars indeed.
