one hand canoer

U'all remember bout two weeks ago I hurt my hand in a canoe mishap. Went to Dr. again today and now my hand and forearm are in a cast (splint). My left middle finger has a fracture. He said it should only have to stay on two weeks. I feel like having a beer but I live in a dry county. So I'd have to drive 30 miles down the interstate to get one or I've a better idea, one of you please bring me one. Have a great day and enjoy your weekend...

When It rains it pours. I just moved to a location near a reservoir that bans all but canoes, sail and electric trollers. I purchased a drop in rower for my 17' Grumman and was looking forward to the spring so I could enjoy the exercise and the fact that everytime i drive by there are only shore fisherman so the place would virtually be my private lake. Anyway one good slip on the ice and i have all kinds of damage between the scapulas and in the spine. So rowing is going to be something in the distant future.
