Hello Ron,
I'm also a newbie player of WoW (23 y/o). If you don't mind the age difference, what do you want tot talk about?

Hey Pax
Checking messages on eons from work and found your reply.
I posted my message on this group before reading the previous posts. On reading them I saw that there's a lot of WoW players here. I understand that the group is for all gamers and not just World of Warcraft so it's varied but I'd love to talk WoW.
I've been electronic gaming since back in the days of arcades, and the legendary:-) 8 bit nintendo. After that Wolfenstien, Myst, Quake, Diablo, etc.
I'm now a Lvl. 15 human warrior home based at the inn in Stormwind(UriahHeep). I've started learning the auction system and mail systems. I'm in a guild(Silverwing Sentinels) but since I've joined them I haven't heard from them and I'm still soloing. I'm not a PvP(player vs. player) kind of character. More of a quester and monster fighter. I average about 1-2 hours a day on the game including weekends(A big reason why I'm still only lvl. 15).
As a warrior once I reach a decent level I'd like to find or start a "party" consisting of me(warrior=tank), a paladin and/or rogue, a warlock or mage, and a priest.
Anyway that's me so far, probably to much info. This is one of the few groups brought up by google for adult WoW players.
I'd like to hear from other WoW players with pointers and if I can help I'd be glad to answer questions about the game.
Just a quick round-up and I'm back to work. I'll check back later.

Hey DeanKy,
I've been playing about as long as you have with Diablo and Diablo II, plus StarCraft and many other games. I started playing WoW years back before BC, then switched to Warhammer Online when that came out. Now I am back to WoW with the Wrath. Read my blog for more about me at draconsgamerblog.blogspot.com.
From what you say, you may be having a problem finding the right guild. You might do some searching online for guilds to join. There certainly are many out there. Take a glance at my guild if you want at www.zakarum.net. We have some older folks like us there, plus some younger ones. We are an old Diablo and Diablo II guild and play WoW in the Westmarch Vanguard guild on the RP server Thorium Brotherhood. We don't RP much, except once in a while. We also do mostly PvE, but some members do some PvP on their own. Our main objective is to help others. "No one left behind" is our motto. We are strictly Alliance, although some of us (myself included) have some Horde characters on other servers.
Sorry for the advertisement, but if you don't think we meet your goals, I won't hold it against you. I find soloing to be a little boring, even though it is necessary at times. World of Solocraft is not my cup of tea. Other members of this group are members of other guilds, too.

hello guys....61 yr old grandmother here who has been playing WOW for about 4 years.....I play on Fenris and have both alliance and low lvl horde.... I love playing my game ... I live in East Tennessee....
hey all...
we too are WOW grandparents. my wife and i are 54 and play side by side mostly on Teranes (sp?) server as Horde. We both have mains that are lvl80 hunters and spend most of our time in IceCrown.
i have been playing since launch day and have my first lvl80 only recently because it was done all the hard way...strictly solo. Originally our internet connection (we live in the boonies of Idaho) was such that any instance we tried we left people stranded when we went link dead and were booted to desktop...lol not a good way to make friends and impress people. Over the years we found other grandparents and our family members to form our own little solo guild "Outlawed Outlaws". Only recently have we been dragged kicking and screaming into instances and a few battlegrounds by our middle son. We still don't understand the PVP stuff...seems all we do is run around and die alot; but are having fun playing with our son anyway. Look us up in game and maybe we can help each other.
My main's name is "Papamoo" and my wife is "MsBratty" i am eng lvl450 and she is leatherwork lvl 437. Frantically trying to raise Horde Expedition faction and build our mechno-hog chopper so we can run around WOW "in the wind" lol. Good hunting y'all!
Greetings WoWers (must be a less clumsy term to use?)
I've been on Wow, which is my first ever online game, for a little over a year. I have a DK, lvl 76 on Hydraxis, as well as somewhat lower lvl hunter & paladin. I've just started a NightElf on Kirin Tor as I understand there's a very good guild there (Heaven's Fire)& I'd like to join.
I spend way too much time on WoW but rully, rully like it. As I'm close (few months) to retirement, I look forward to getting well-addicted.
I'm glad to see other Warcraft players on Eons!!
Technonoob
Hi Technonoob,
Welcome to the group! I have a few lowbies on Hydraxis, but I have a few lowbies on many servers. I mostly play on Thorium Brotherhood, where I have a full complement of Alliance characters with my level 80 protection/holy paladin. I am leveling some other toons right now and headed for Ulduar and beyond with my paladin. I tend to start way too many alts, but I like variety. Yes, you can say, "Altitis." I think it is related to arthritis. The open secret about Wow is that there are many older players who play along with the young folks. Enjoy your retirement!
