Choosing a Skin from the Skin Gallery:
When you find one you want to use, click on Try it. If you like how it looks, then click on "Customize this skin". That will take you back to your skinner where you can make some changes. You can either make changes and then save it - or scroll down to the bottom and save it right away. You can change the skin name before you save it if you want.

Then go back into the skinner. Click on "Use" under the skin you just saved. If it is your first skin, it may become the one used automatically.

Creating your own skin:
You'll need to have a background that you want to use uploaded to your photocenter in Eons or in a photosharing site such as photobucket. You can find some backgrounds you can use in the Eons Background Group on Eons, from another site (see files in scrolling directory for some choices) or you can make your own.

Once you have your background(s) chosen, go into the skinner and click on "Create a new skin" (or choose one from the gallery and then change the background). You can use the help file Duh Skinner, to help you put in the background(s), fonts, etc.

Banners:
There are two help files in the scrolling directory that gives you information on banners. You can also find information in some of the other help files.

This should get you started. We have many members who are very talented when it comes to making banners, graphics and designing skins, so don't hesitate to ask questions as you work. We'll be glad to help!
