About the Future of this Group...

A few months ago Mae said that she had to take a "few days" off for some surgery. After three or four weeks she returned for one day and then left again. I now see that her last profile update says that she "is not able to be on Eons."

For a while there I attempted to keep some new content on the group forum as I kind of hate to see any group go belly up, even though show business and dynamic women are not subjects that I know anything about.

At this point it seems unlikely that Mae will return to manage the group again. If any of you members would like to take over managing the group, you can send a request to the Eons management people and explain the situation to them and ask to be installed as the new manager.

I don't know if Mae still checks the group anymore or not. If so: Hey, Mae, get in touch with someone and let us know if you ever intend to return to run the group. If we hear nothing we will assume that the group needs a new manager.

I think she flew the coop. It's sad but she had been griping about eons for a while. Hope that's all it is. I'd hate to think that she isn't well.

you did a great job Kpasa but I think you are right. Mae expressed to me in a PM not long before she left that she was thinking of ending the group because of personal reasons.. so I think she has left.. I will miss you all it was a good group. but I know it takes tons of work to run it.. my had is off to you K for tring to keep it opened.. I wish you all a sweet forever. !!!!!!!!1

Thank you Sue, and thank you Marisol. The unique subject matter of this group really needs someone as manager or moderator who has a deep interest in the subject and I'm afraid that isn't me. Until such time as Mae decides to come back or someone else steps forward to take over the management, I think I will probably not be posting much here, and may even remove the group from my list of groups. I will probably bump into you guys in other groups. Good luck and peace to each of you.

@HippyGirl52: No, I did not. I did mention that if any of the members want to take over the group as the new manager they could contact the Eons help team and request to be installed as the new manager. The group is very inactive and it looks unlikely that anyone is going to step forward to claim the position. I do not want to manage it, I have too many other groups to manage. I was moderating the group while Mae was away for surgery, but have no interest in managing it.
