I don't have high blood pressure, but thought this article would be helpful for those that do~

Perfect Carole....

Two tablespoons of curry on a stir fry is just perfect for me! No salt!!

The pills and other things condiments like Braggs are just spices in disguise. They're reformulated, marketed, and then sold at high prices....

I also watch my salt intake. The less the better, I say!

Maybe I'll try TawnyDavidson's spice mix. I just can't get myself to like turmeric, although I do like yellow mustard, which is colored with it. But how much mustard can you put on your food?

Seems like anything that's really beneficial is hard to get down, like turmeric, wheat grass juice & all that.

I use very little salt, but recently bought some Himalayan sea salt & some gray sea salt, I think it's French. I still don't use much, but this stuff sure tastes better than regular salt.

Ladies and Gents

People from the Caribbean Islands have been using curry powder for a long time. I don't think the reason it is used is for its medicinal purposes. I think it was mostly for the taste or flavor it gives to meat. I use it when I make curried chicken, curried meatball or turkey. Now I sprinkle it on the brown rice sometimes.

It will be interesting to see at what level my blood pressure is when I go for my yearly physical in April. I also use cinnamon with my oatmeal or herbal tea. I hope all of these herbs are really good as proclaimed by the 'experts'.
