I was in Cameroon in the Peace Corps many years ago, but never got to visit Ghana. A friend of mine did his Peace Corps Service there at the same time. There are quite a few Ghanaians here in Worcester, MA.

When I review why I decided to make the move to Ghana, I cannot come up with a rational basis for leaving behind a wonderful life split between Hawaii and Japan. Maybe it was a midlife crisis moment. However I contribute this relocation for the most part in recognizing in myself the need to do more with my life. Ghana has opened a whole world of possibilities and opportunities for personal growth. This journey is a new chapter and it’s going to be challenging and fun!
