Ol' Stu A Christmas tale

I thought I'd share a Christmas tale I wrote some time ago. It's about an old car - a Studebaker to be exact.
It has seen very minor publication, but I'd bet you've never seen it. It's a G-rated story you could read to your kids or grandkids if you like. Enjoy! Comments welcome!

What a great story, and probably true for many people across this country.

The "humanizing" of ol' Stu. and all the stories of the road it could tell...

Rather than returning from the junk heap as 2 toyotas, it is eventually rescued by the third generation of that family, and it lives again.

I am happy that Ol' Stu was a Studebaker, to have been anything else, it might change the story.
My Dad had a few Studebakers and his Dad didn't speak to him for months, a Chevy man.
"... why did you buy that car?" my grandfather would always ask him.

One of those cars would be handed to me, a 1961 Studebaker Lark VI. [clever of you not to mention this car] It was a commuter car while in College in the early 60's. The fitment was very poor. I remember one very windy and snowy day on a completely clogged Interstate, the snow was slipping into the car, all the doors and windows were fully closed!
To this day, I think my Dad didn't give the car to me out of the goodness of his heart but rather, he went out and bought himself a Pontiac.

Best wishes and Happy Holidays
