I joined this group because of breast cancer in my family (my mother and aunt) and because I've just gone through the experience with my sister of her having a breast biopsy. Gratefully, the results came back earlier this month being benign.
However, I went through the month-long process of waiting for the surgical biopsy and results with her fighting the fear. I also volunteer in running two cancer support groups, so I've come to realize the emotional shock of a cancer diagnosis.
Through these experiences and people, I've come across some wonderful resources and decided to create a place to share them.
