No more Macworld

Apple and Steve Jobs will no longer participate in Macworld Expo. This probably means the end of that event although they say smaller events could be held at selected Apple Stores. Could also mean the end of Macworld magazine. Not unusual, with many other print publications and newspapers ceasing to exist...on paper. I attended many Macworld Expos in NYC at the Javits Center and one year in Boston. They were fun, informative and useful. Disappointed when they decided to hold it only in San Francisco. It was interesting to walk around the floor and watch software demonstrations and see new products and get free stuff to try out at home.
Too bad.

That was a real shocker. San Francisco is a very expensive venue, so I doubt it will continue there without Apple's participation. So where will Steve announce new products now?
