Cash Sedan Chair

I am stealing this idea from another room , which in turn stole the idea from the TV show Cash Cab . Since we are devoted to history , cash cab seemed to modern , so I opted for a more ancient and classical mode of transportation . It works like this , I ask a question and the person who comes up with the correct answer first gets to ask the next question , preferably relating to archaeology and history .

I have one; who was the world's first "sex addict"?

ooops, sorry, I didn't answer the question Yichel was asking -- The sign is attested in business correspondence between British North America and Mexico in the 1770s, as referring to the Spanish-Mexican peso. The piastre was known as "Spanish dollar" in British North America and it was adopted as U.S. currency in 1785, together with the term "dollar" and the $ sign.

Now -- who was the worlds first "Sex Addict".

All true but history gives credit to an Oliver Pollock for getting the dollar sign accepted by his billings to a Governor Morris. As the symbol was itroduced in a book in 1787. that became the date of acceptance. Poorly written question
by the strange way he U over the S has no relationship to United States or Uncle Sam as some have said.

One would assume that it would be the first RECORDED sex addict. I would bet that there were many long before the first one was recorded .
